Hello, my name is Ms. Colleen and I am the director at Kiddy Garden. I have dedicated 28 years of my career to Kiddy Garden, and I take immense pride in the work we do here. In addition to my role at Kiddy Garden, I am actively involved in our community through organizations such as Girl Scouts and various school initiatives. Volunteering is a passion of mine, and I find great fulfillment in giving back to those around me.
Outside of work, I have been happily married for 26 years to my supportive husband. Together, we have two wonderful daughters and two awesome dogs. I take great joy in attending my daughters’ sports games and school events, as their achievements bring me immense pride.
One of our family’s favorite pastimes is traveling, as we love exploring new places and creating lasting memories together. Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me and my family.

I’m a mom of five children and three dogs. All of my children attended Kiddy Garden from infancy, with the oldest now age 12. I’m also a Kiddy Garden alumna! My youngest son still attends on no school days and holidays. I enjoy horseback riding and family activities like swimming, walks, and movie nights. Having worked with all age groups, I feel I’ve truly found my home after a decade in the infant room.”

I’ve been in the Early Childhood field for around 11 years. I started as an Assistant and escalated to become a Director. About: I began working with children in the Camp for Kids program at Condell in Gurnee and quickly knew that I was meant to teach & care for young children. I was a nanny to two wonderful children for 2 years and then found my forever job at Kiddy Garden, where I truly feel like I’m part of a family.
Although I started in the Toddler room, I’ve worked with all
the age groups here and ended up falling in love with the Pre-K classroom. I enjoy their excitement to learn through fun, engaging activities, experiments, & process art. I have one son, Tyler, one dog, & two cats. I enjoy hiking beautiful trails with my pup, playing volleyball & tennis, reading & going to see live music.
